    Abbey Brook Cacti - Derbyshire

    Founded in 1956, Abbey Brook is a leading nursery specialising in Cacti, with thousands of species. The nursery is a wonderful pace to visit, displaying beautiful and interesting plants. Please visit the website for a plant and stock list, growing instructions and an excellent photo gallery.
    Open: Wed, Thurs & Fri 1 - 4pm, Sat & Sun 1 - 5pm all year (closed Christmas, Boxing and New Year's day & various weekends).

  • Apple Affair - West Dean Gardens

    Visitors can see over 100 varieties of apple grown in the Victorian walled kitchen garden. There will be stallholders offering an array of apple based foods and drinks to taste and buy and activities for the whole family. 


    11th and 12th of October, 10.30am - 5pm (last entry 4.30)

  • Apple Court - Hampshire

    The Garden has a White Garden, Hosta Walks, Exotic borders, Grass borders, Fern Walk, Japanese Garden, Woodland borders and Daylily Gardens.  The season starts with snowdrops and hellebores, followed by pulmonarias and peonies. The Hosta Walk comes into its own in April and is followed by roses, tulips and the Daylily Garden which holds centre stage until the grasses take over through August and into winter.
    Open: 1st March - 31st October Fri, Sat, Sun & Bank Holidays 10 - 5pm (other times or parties by appointment)

    Apple Weekend - Waterperry Gardens

    Celebrate the new season with Waterperry’s Apple Weekend. See and taste up to 50 different apple varieties and get your mystery apple crops identified by our experts. There’ll also be tours of the orchards, a country crafts and food fair in the plant centre, special apple-themed meals in the Pear Tree Teashop and information and advice about growing fruit in your garden. Event runs from 10am to 4.30pm. Entrance fee applies for garden visits.

    Ardfearn Nursery - Inverness

    Ardfearn Nursery was established in 1987 on the South shore of the Beauly Firth. They stock one of the largest ranges of trees, shrubs, herbaceous and alpine plants in Scotland and have a range of rare and unusual plants.
